The Pool

Sunday at about 2:47 pm Ray Dugger entered the pool. Shortly he pronounced the water to be "all right," and gave a thumbs up. It may not be 'hot' enough for the exercise ladies but it's close. Thanks to The Managers for such prompt response.

Gordon's Rememberence

Gordon Robert Smyth was born on November 26, 1921 in Cleveland Ohio and passed away on December 10, 2011.
Gordon joined the Army in 1941 during W.W.II and fought in the Battle of The Bulge. Gordon worked in engineering and started his own company making service equipment, missile containers, cots, practice bombs etc., before retiring in 1983.
He was an avid skier, pilot of his Cessna and lived on his 42 foot houseboat on the Mississippi. He eventually came to L.A. where he met his beloved Gladys Clements and stayed. The two of them traveled approx. 18,000 miles in their motorhome. They moved to Pine Mountain Lake where they enjoyed their pontoon boat and Gordon captained the Champagne boat tours. They eventually moved to Rancho Buena Vista in Santa Maria where Gordon made many friends and eventually passed away.
He is survived by Gladys, daughter Vicki, grandchildren T.D. and Lauren, nephew Dave Tuttle. He was also a father by love to his extended family, Janice, David, Kim, Ralph and Anthony.

Gas Inspections is over. We passed with flying colors.

Asphalt work

Before the rains hit I want to seal the cracks in the street to prevent the asphalt from deteriorating. V. Lopez  Jr.& sons contractor will be in the streets within the next few days please obey the traffic signage that will be out.

Busy Time of the Year

Don't forget the Memorial Tree lighting ceremony tonight (29 November) at 6pm in front of the clubhouse. We hope to have some photos from the ceremony posted here tonight following the event.
